Ronald Escarte, an MMDA K-9 Corps volunteer since 2017 with his 2-year old Labrador, Chia enter the search area to confirm a live find.

Evelyn Cabauatan, a volunteer on standby while waiting for the MMDA rescue battalion to drill the area where our canines indicated a live find. This is the moment where a second and third canine are deployed to confirm a successful search. Rescue and medical teams line up to check on the survivor and to help bring the stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.

Not all heroes wear capes. They are our loyal companions.

MMDA K-9 Corps volunteers since 2017, await instructions from the MMDA rescue battalion and ground operations manager. Theirs is a heart that is willing to serve other communities in need. Salute!
