Rescue missions on Pulo Island in San Nicolas, Talisay and Lemery, Batangas from January 14-18, 2020. These rescue efforts in Batangas were in close coordination with the Office of Civil Defense and the Provincial Veterinarian’s Office under Dr. Rommel Marasigan.
January 14: This mission was strictly coordinated with the Office of Civil Defense and Barangay Makina. MMDA K-9 Corps was deployed on Pulo Island to rescue animals stranded on the island.
January 17: This mission to rescue animals, including livestock in all Barangays of Talisay, Batangas was under the leadership of the Provincial Veterinarian’s Office of Batangas. Mission conducted in partnership with Muntinlupa K-9 Search and Rescue and volunteers from The Animal Rescue Wheels, The KabarkaDogs and Strays Worth Saving -SWS.
